I don’t normally do this on my blog but there’s always room for helping out friends, let alone best friends.
As you know nowadays it can be hard to afford a wedding especially if you’re just starting out and struggling to get your daily bread on the table. Albeit hard, it doesn’t have to be impossible, especially if one has a large community of friends who can help with even a little.
My close friend Joseph and his fiancee Emily are living in Shanghai and would like to afford a modest yet beautiful wedding of a budget of 5000$. Although very insignificant a sum for a wedding in the days we’re living in, it can still be hard to raise that amount on a short notice. But thank God for fundraising!
I’ve always believed in having a humble and simplistic wedding celebration that yet can be host to many good memories a couple will share for their lifetime. So let’s make it happen!
If you click on the widget displayed above you will be directed to the web page where you will find several donation options ranging from as little as 5$ up to 100$ all depending on your financial capabilities and how much you’re willing to be part of this dream come true. And that’s not all. You’ll find that every donation option has its own perks and depending on the level you choose to help, Joseph and Emily will be in turn thanking you in their own way by sending you photos, souvenirs and even an invitation to be at the wedding!
But what if you can’t help them financially?
You can still help them by liking the page thus drawing more traffic to the profile and creating a bigger exposure to more potential donors.
And even if you don’t feel like going to the page and “liking” it we have made it even more easy for you by giving you the laziest option to just press on the “like” button below (the one with the Facebook thumb) which will automatically share the link on your Facebook profile.
We appreciate every kind of help we can get.
Thank you for making this happen.
