“Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.” – 3 John 2 (NASB)
I just finished listening to a sermon that completely blew my mind, about living in wholeness – body, soul and spirit. We often think as Christians that the flesh (body and soul) in the absolute is evil and we are supposed to be spirit-lead, and by doing so we often miss the fact that we are triune beings with triune needs. Being spirit-lead does not mean that we are to neglect the needs of our soul but it means that our spirit should lead our soul. If you have 90 minutes you can set aside I would strongly advise you to listen to the sermon here as it will definitely give you a new perspective on your daily walk with God.
P.S: In case you’re worried about the length of the sermon, trust me it will be over before you know it as Kris Vallotton makes it very enjoyable to listen to and I can guarantee you that you will have an ample share of laughs all throughout the sermon.
