Blogging Is a Discipline

You know, I realized something just the other day. I’ve had this blog created for more than a year now and so far, up until a few days ago, I’ve only had 2 posts on it. Sad to say but this pretty much classifies me as an EXTREMELY BAD blogger! I don’t know if it’s plain laziness or just intimidation caused by the blank page (something I suppose every writer is very well acquainted with), but I do know that this cannot go on. I may not be your average chatterbox on the internet or even in real life for all that matters but I think this shouldn’t stop me from making the effort to share with the people around me what goes on in my life from thoughts that cross my mind, revelations or maybe epiphanies that change my perspective on things, incidents that mark me, songs that move and inspire me and all sorts of things that could benefit others or at least make their visit here worthwhile. I realize blogging is a discipline I should put into practice in my everyday life from now on until it becomes a natural habit for me. This is not easy, especially for people like me who find it hard to express themselves on a regular basis, but I guess this is why it’s called discipline. So let’s hope for the best! 🙂
